The Incinerator (waste management system ) is a turn-key project which will compromise a hospital grade incinerator, allied accessories for proper disposal of hospital solid waste material and imputed human organs. The incinerator shall also be suitable for plastic, paper, textile and rubber dry and wet infectious waste of the hospital. The unit shall be of high performance to be opened continuously for at least 08 C 12 hours daily. The Primary source of fuel will be natural gas (must be compatible with LPG as backup source with vaporizers) combustion with smokeless emissions. For ensuring the clean environment, it should strictly comply with EPA standards having EIA certifications The incinerator system should be based on at least design and recently manufactured having following specifications:- (1) Burning Capacity. Continuous feeding and burning capacity of 50-60 kg/ hour or better having volume of 500 liters or more. YES, 50-100kgs/hr. 560 Liters (2) Construction (a) Primary Chamber i. Rectangular shape dual chamber construction YES ii. The feeding door should be in accordance to load size and should be front loaded or side loaded (Manual/ Automatic). YES iii. The steel sheet shall be at least 6-8mm thick & 10-12mm or more from front with Heat resistant paint. YES. 8MM MAINBODY. 15MM PARTIAL STRENGTHENING iv. The internal surface of the incinerator shall be lined with non-cracking refractory bricks (high content of Aluminum or suitable material) along with isolation bricks to withstand a temperature of 1400°C backed by thermal insulation. HOT FACE, HIGH ALUMINUM FIREBRICK 55% OF AL203,1750°C GRADE. CODE FACE, HIGH RATE REFRACTORY CERAMIC FIBER, 1050°C GRADE. (b) Post Chamber. Post combustion chamber is lined with high thermal insulating materials with a thickness of 150mm or more of refractory bricks and 85mm of insulator. Hot Face, 180mm, High aluminum firebrick 55% of Al203,1750°C Grade. Code Face, 100mm, High Rate Refractory Ceramic Fiber, 1050°C Grade. (c) Chimney i. Chimney should be made of stainless steel flanged section. YES ii. Height of chimney should be 8-12 meters YES – 10 METERS iii. Chimney should be fitted with sampling port for the collection and measuring of gas samples. YES (3) Technical Specifications (a) Primary Chamber (Combustion) i. Blower centrifugal fan(s) shall be provided to inject air to burn the waste and gases in combustion chamber. YES ii. Automatic electronically controlled air distribution and regulation system. YES iii. The temperature should not be less than 850°C. AVE.900C iv. A see through window with protection flap for inspection of burners flame should be provided. YES v. Thermocouple/sensors to monitor the temperature of the primary chamber. YES vi. Two medium electricity operated natural gas burners or one large with the provision to operate in standby LPG fuel with burning power not less than 250 kw YES (b) Secondary Chamber (Post Combustion) i. The post combustion chamber for flue gases with retention time of 1 to 2 seconds to burn further for ensuring smokeless exhaust emissions. YES ii. Automatic electronically controlled air distribution and regulation system. YES iii. The temperature should not be less than 850°C or better. AVE.1100C iv. Two medium electrically operated natural gas or more large with the provision to operate on standby LPG fuel. YES v. Thermocouples/sensors to monitor the temperature of the secondary chamber.
